I just bought two whole raw chickens on sale. I’ve never disassembled a whole chicken before. 

I feel accomplished that I learned something, and I really got exponential value for my dollar. 15 meals for $18. 

I may buy another one just so I can practice disassembling it..

I get them quartered at the butcher, use the smaller parts directly and poach the rest for another day.
