bought a tv yesterday, hadn't owned one since 2007 i've got mixed feelings, but the wife thought it's better for the kids who'd been watching stuff on an ipad when we let them admittedly the kids were super excited, which reminded me how fun tv can be for kids what do you think, /parenting? good to have? a mistake?

been there, done that (no TV between 2004 - 2021) 1. TV only accessible via chromecast via my phone 2. No subscription service: harder to binge watch 3. Via vodaphone internet subscription we get access to trad TV channels. That means ads and limited choice.

So are you/your kids happy having a tv now?
