How do you think about fostering your child's curiosity without putting them at risk of things you know will harm them? (i.e. touching a hot stove, playing too close to the street)

Depends on the consequences of getting hurt. Climb? Go for it. Jump off the cliff into the water? Let's see how deep it is. Wander off the tiny island after setting up the tent? Go & explore It's about your believed probability that harm will occur and how painful it will be
