There was a scientific study on decision making trying to understand why people enjoy certain art pieces. People could pick a picture. Some had to explain why they picked it. Those who had to *reason* why they picked that picture, were less satisfied about their choice than those who were not asked to explain themselves. Good humour requires context knowledge. LLM are like fancy machines predicting which words should be in the same sentence.

great point! even the stand-up comedy folks first set up the context and then start with the comedy.
