I loved 3 body, especially the sequels, but didn't love reading Dune :P I think it's because of my preference for harder sci-fi over character development.

If your dislike for 3 Body was informed by the hollow characters, Dune will be a better read.

maybe, i love the dune universe and was interested in the story of this one but don't love whoever made this show and i didn't enjoy watching it very much but it had cool stuff. it was kinda like wheel of time but with a higher budget idkkkk
