Wild chart — obviously this trend started under Biden but hard to see how a trade war will improve these numbers.

Solid paper there, with a few minor nit picky items. Climate smart ag funding has been getting chopped up and exposed and some farmers have been skeptical about the funding efficacy see https://x.com/grainstats/status/1900333193460338792?s=46&t=TVy9rDl3UkuxmVj4e18bOA

I would say this is more reflective of continued growth in importing high value commodities - fruit, veg, seafood etc. as we continue to eat an expensive per capital and labor costs forced the trend toward import for the higher value crops. Also, higher value commodities have continued to increase in production in developing countries since the turn of the century - think SA frozen fruit etc. We primarily export lowe value commodities (grains) and random high value crops (almonds).
