totally! and i feel that so much as a psychologist. if you are a good professional you don’t give solutions to people, but help having a new experience.

I have noticed this for a while now, explosion of self help books, couches. Extreme need to optimize everything, eventually everything is optimized except for a mental mindset which gets depressed. Many people overoptimized and lost the sense of enjoying the moment.

i like this. and that is resonant with human nature if searching for solutions isn’t?

i think it’s all together, because our parents were influenced by the society. i think a solution can’t be a goal it’s self, bc it’s just a consequence of the experience. it’s like with money! money is a consequence of what you are doing, not the other way around.

we just mixed up wrongly the cause and the effect.

Is this a society mindset or something that is implemented by our parents? 
It might be partly in our nature to look for solutions but not to the point that it affects how we enjoy and appreciate life itself
