How much variance has there been on the musical notation from your historical scores, vs modern orchestrations today? Has that been quite stable over time, or lots of evolution? They look beautiful, Kate.

Itβs pretty stable since XVI century, not much variety for traditional way of writing music. but of course, modern composers write whatever they feel like :)

well, usually there is like few pages before of composerβs notes on what they actually mean by all that π at the end is not that difficult, but first days your brain may literally burn haha
