it's quite similar as well to doing OSS support — people come in with problems and you ask them to try stuff to debug/fix the issue.

Yep. This is a good take. A skilled human is a force multiplier to an AI team because that person knows how to chop up work the right way to get the best results from them.

Agree. You will be far more successful at both if you can also do the task you are asking to be done. This thing will do exactly what you ask for but perhaps not what you want. You have to be able to know good work when you see it and nudge it back on track if it strays.
