Madeira has a very good digital nomad community. It created some tension with the locals, but for most it was a good change

I agree with Mac. I travelled to Madeira, spent there 14 days! it is absolutely wonderful. There is smth about the weather, the vibe.. Visited also Fuerteventura on Canary Islands - that one is like landing on Mars, it is a 100% volcanic island, unreal, unforgettable. But Madeira is so green, so full of water..
