What is your best idea for how we can grow the /words channel? If someone suggests something we actually do, I'll give them 250 Warps (up to 3 folks) To be eligible for that just comment & recast, I'll vet stuff tomorrow 🤟

As always, the best way to grow words is to encourage discussion and seeing how two pieces relate to each other Writers are egotistical, we want to share whatever cool new thing we just wrote but don't really want to spend the time reading what our peers write Maybe discussion rewards of some sort? A comment frame?

This is the holy grail of writer communities. I think we can take a page from clickbait and make the frame around questions asked within the piece, or maybe a contentious quote. Outright asking people "what do you think about X thought here doesn't really work", it's gotta resonate with them beforehand

Re: what kind of discussions I'd like to participate in. I'd like to participate in the ones I already like! Moments where I see fragments of my pieces in someone else's thinking Moments when I see theses I chatted about with friends a year ago, etc I think the power is in finding the connection between pieces
