Sometimes I think it’s going to be hard - it ends up being not that bad and I regret not having done it earlier Sometimes I think it’s going be easy - and then I end up going on a Dante’s Inferno style journey through the seven layers of hell

Looking back, would you remove the difficult ones out of your life? We seem to grow the most from these in my personal experience. I have just completed another round through these seven layers… 🖤

One of the early life lessons I learned is that things are rarely as good or as bad as you expect them to be. No idea why though.

Sometimes I think something will be hard, and I drag it out for months, tormented by the mere thought of doing it. It ends up being not that bad, but it still doesn’t fill the deep void of sorrow.

for me it's almost to a rule that when I think something is going to be bad, it's easy, and when I think something is going to be easy, it's bad. Probably just expectations, but still feels silly.

what i realize is that taking things as 'this is going to be easy' sometimes ends up being harder than the ones i already know are going to be hard

happens to me sometimes. I procrastinate something I think its going to be hard, ends up being easier Also when something is hard I read through it even without understanding. Then review it the next day and I digest it quickly.

so relatable it’s like our mind has a way of keeping us on our toes Sometimes, what we dread turns out to be nothing, and what we think will be a breeze ends up testing every ounce of our patience and resilience.

But how do you successfully pass through the “Dante’s Inferno style journey through the seven layers of hell”? I tend to give up easily and it’s not a great feeling at all.

We tend to put things off, not because we are lazy, but because of the excitement we have associated with such a task.

The beauty of life. I love that living is like this. The struggles make the wins that much better and the easy moments that I stressed about make me laugh when I see how easy they were.

So true. Sometimes I think a development is going to be really bad for me and it ends up being good in a way I never expected. Sometimes I think a development is going to be really good and well...I guess it comes down to expectations.
