>lost my right airpod >left only for 2 weeks >lost my left airpod >wired old ones for 1 week >found my right airpod (gym shorts) >1 week passes >found my prev gen right AirPod (winter pants) >still missing all lefts basically happens on repeat, im 5 generations of AirPods in. I get to enjoy both pods for about 3mo of the year.

I just can't get down with wireless signals in my ear next to the thinnest part of my skull. Plus using bluetooth can create privacy issues. So I stick to annoying old wired headphones. Hard to lose though.

I’m right only on curr gen. “Right-first with all noise canceling off or the left one will produce only a deafening shriek” on the prev gen. Neither work for calls.
