Farcaster community, what’s one thing, above all else, that you want to see in Social Media that currently doesn’t exist today? Let’s hear it 👇

Quality posts gain traction even if they are posted by accounts with less followers. Virality of good posts shouldn't be tied to the number of followers. But again, measuring quality is subjective. May be there is a work around for that too.

It's less about what doesn't exist and more about what could use more balance. Less: bouncing around trends every few weeks looking for network growth hacks. More: nurturing long term communities/audiences and not capitulating to mandates because Q2 revenue isn't as good as Q1. In other words, what doesn't seem to exist is a long term vision that stays the course and doesn't try to become the "everything" app

Also I would like a product that can write initial tweet drafts based transcriptions of my meetings. A big part of my job as a dev rel is building my social media profiles. However, I might not have time to post about my top insights of the day after a full day of other work.

More ways to craft my own feeds, and more feeds that rely on great curation rather than algorithms. Like YouTube Subscriptions are great, but I wish I could manage my subscriptions into more manageable feeds rather than a single one. Twitter lists are also a good example.

Context. This is something X is beginning to nail with Grok, letting users make more sense of the feed. Example: Alex usually posts mild tech takes and suddenly posts an angry political rant. Other users see a “Context Bubble” if they hover over Alex’s post that says “Outlier: This is a more intense tone than Alex’s usual posts. Alex typically discusses Tech & Productivity (75% of posts).” Reaction Buttons: “Fact-check,” “Request Source,” “Offer Empathy,” “Agree/Disagree,” etc so the conversation is steered to be more constructive. Supporters & Enemies Summary: Alex has a history of fighting with these commenters & these commenters always support Alex Summary: A summary generator keeps track of key arguments and references, making it easier for newcomers to catch up. Personal Sentiment Dashboard: Alex can see that the post was flagged with a high “negative sentiment” rating and might decide to elaborate in a follow-up or delete if they realize they were venting.

Would like the algorithms to give me new unique content. I get having quality posts that will make me engage and like-minded posts that will fall within my preferences & opinions, but I’d like a 3rd option of posts I typically wouldn’t touch that may give me new ideas or perspectives.
