i used to check out new profiles and meet people from that 

is that a setting i control or a wc notifications bug?

someone else followed someone else - maybe relevant

I found myself asking this the other day, 

after thinking if this would be more relevant than receive a notification about 50 people following another account

you control and if you want I’ll unfollow you and refollow :)

oh i have push notifications turned completely off... 

but i just turned off priority mode so i can feel all the raw in-app notifications in their natural state

I assume it’s because most new people don’t have a spam label yet and start following people when they are new. I don’t think you get a notification unless that persona has a level 2 spam label so it’s more rare that established people follow you later.
