A lot of people there just don't care about decentralization, so you'll never convince them, but there are several good points made. Having to pay to join is going to be a deal breaker for anyone who might otherwise want to try the platform out, and learning about warps is a big ask. The cast character limit is also fu

Ethereum has an obvious value proposition: If I invest in this DeFi project, I expect to make more back than I paid in transaction fees. Most people just see social media as entertainment.

I may not be the best person to answer this question, because I originally only signed up for Farcaster because of the Coinbase airdrop. Now I'm just screwing around.

My answer is different for different platforms. Reddit is where I get obscure questions answered. On YouTube and Instagram, I follow channels with self-help resources. LinkedIn is self-explanatory. Twitter and Farcaster? 90% entertainment. I get some info on crypto projects, and I spam for airdrops. That's about it.
