A lot of people there just don't care about decentralization, so you'll never convince them, but there are several good points made. Having to pay to join is going to be a deal breaker for anyone who might otherwise want to try the platform out, and learning about warps is a big ask. The cast character limit is also fu

Yes, but they don't pay to use social media, and now you're asking them to. Maybe people who already pay for Twitter are ok with it, but Redditors are going to need a lot of convincing to start paying.

Ethereum has an obvious value proposition: If I invest in this DeFi project, I expect to make more back than I paid in transaction fees. Most people just see social media as entertainment.
