To me post-truth is good because it forces me not to care about anything beyond my immediate locus of control. Why do I care about the “truth” beyond what I see with my eyes. I have no agency over any of this stuff anyways.

This is why I think we’re returning to a more local mindset — we can’t afford to be global or even beyond our “immediate locus of control” as @keccers.eth put it

That doesn’t mean the internet is going away, but the experience will bend towards a more local internet — ie. Your online friends, fans and communities

the future is going to be hyper global (through the internet) but also hyper local (with local communities that are fueled by our interactions with each other through the internet)
