im doing a weeklong jhana-focused meditation retreat starting tomorrow evening. any advice for a first-timer?

(also im gonna be offline and incommunicado for a week. dont miss me too much)

cool. congrats. i would just recommend you to face it as a gift that you are offering yourself, to get to know your self. the more you allow the recognition of the experience from a place of curiosity towards yourself, the smoother anything that could come up will become. embrace it all as a gift. and be hardcore. ruthless. devote to the practice from a place of reverence and truth

never done a retreat, never meditated more than ~40min at a time
