Still here, but I've... retreated, cut my participation by 80% or so. What's keeping me around is the chance that Dan and Varun succeed and make a robustly decentralized internet social protocol. But I've lost sight of the mission and have deep misgivings not-specific-to-farcaster that forced me to reconsider the situation and risks. TLDR: I'm less confident in farcaster and so I'm hedging on time invested.

I dove into Mastodon and revisited Lens. Mastodon is closer to what I want farcaster to be (albeit w/o crypto rails). And while I find myself returning to reddit more and more, i'm just lurking. simply not interested in building /other peoples/ products. if farcaster fails or fails to be meaningfully decentralized, i'll just bow out completely. ezpz.

Not sure. There's a very low chance I'll bother developing a presence on any of those platforms. But if I do, it probably won't be as 'wake.'

i feel like with those people that I’ve met traveling the world and that i know I won’t ever see again so have evolved into just learning to appreciate the fact that they were part of my life in the first place (instead of that noooo please let’s meet again i need you in my life kinda thing)
