Philosophically, no. Crypto has had 15 years since the white paper to create a self sufficient and self contained non predatory culture. It hasn’t happened yet. If it can’t do it with Farcaster, it can’t do it at all.

Farcaster can contribute to this and I agree with you, but there are already quite large communities/fans of individual projects. On a different note, can you point out ardent fans of some other topic?
