The cardinal sin to wanting build "another Silicon Valley" is to think of it as a money problem. Silicon Valley works because of: 1) unique historical circumstances as precondition 2) a reinforcing cultural feedback loop that took decades to develop Network effect as a moat. https://warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0xbca3715d

It’s like trying to build another CBGB. Ecosystems and scenes never happen by design. Can only be organic / happenstance. Case in point - the failed attempts at building any kind of cultural impact through the multi-million dollar government funded Sydney Startup Hub.

Interesting case study is the Western Atlantic Way (Ireland). Public $ to build co-working places in remote hubs. The goal isn't the next SV. Only to make sure people can stay in their tiny village and have work. Galway is a bit different, promoting itself as Innovation city after AirBnB passed. Rent the Runway came
