Hmmm… That last part hits hard. We have gamified life to the point that ‘optimize or die’ is now a normal thing, even if we have no clue why we’re doing it

it's already happening. look at school students. i recently read about a philosophy professor who complained about a disconnect in today's classrooms.

Maybe the real danger isn’t just in AI becoming more human, but in humans becoming less so.
