Hmmm… That last part hits hard. We have gamified life to the point that ‘optimize or die’ is now a normal thing, even if we have no clue why we’re doing it

it’s optimise *and* die. No matter what the longevity folks say, death is a part of life. It’s the only thing that gives any of this nonsense any meaning
