Do you think at some point Degen will get integrated into Warpcast more formally and enter partnership? It feels like such a win win at this point

I don't know about warpcast, but I think an awesome starting point would be someone building a degen specific client that has $DEGEN deeply integrated (e.g. one click tip)

this could pair really nicely with a DEGEN L3 on @base where every tip could be a real onchain transaction. perfect use case for L3.

I guess it's not that warpcast wouldn't do it eventually, just a question of priority. I feel like doing a POC in a separate client shows what's possible which can then encourage innovation in more established clients like warpcast or supercast

This seems like one of those intuitively appealing ideas that, in practice, turn out to be quite challenging to build. I'm curious about why Warpcaster isn't the go-to client for ERC20 tipping and why another client might be a better fit. Perhaps it would be more feasible if the Warpcaster frontend were open source.

Very much agree. That will also pave the way for more uses for $DEGEN (more than just tips) if its natively embedded within a client on Base. Also / because its a client, it overcomes the chicken and egg problem of social networks. So we start off on a solid foundation.

a) issue grants to incentivise the community—gives an edge to builders, fuels the word-of-mouth, and you get more loyal users

b) allow users to set up their shareable degen profile—presently, no benchmark platform exists for web3 movers, and sends signal to whoever sees it that multiplies your credibility
