I don't know about warpcast, but I think an awesome starting point would be someone building a degen specific client that has $DEGEN deeply integrated (e.g. one click tip) this could pair really nicely with a DEGEN L3 on @base where every tip could be a real onchain transaction. perfect use case for L3. cc @jacek

This seems like one of those intuitively appealing ideas that, in practice, turn out to be quite challenging to build. I'm curious about why Warpcaster isn't the go-to client for ERC20 tipping and why another client might be a better fit. Perhaps it would be more feasible if the Warpcaster frontend were open source.

I guess it's not that warpcast wouldn't do it eventually, just a question of priority. I feel like doing a POC in a separate client shows what's possible which can then encourage innovation in more established clients like warpcast or supercast
