My only feedback is that as a onetime J-school student raised on the Canadian Press style guide, the Oxford comma hurts my soul 😂 Otherwise though, very thorough and helpful guide and I have shared with our /thenounsquare team. I particularly loved the sections on consistent tone and voice — so many brands don’t prioritize this and it’s v important. Oh, and I will just reiterate that it is somewhat inconsistent that the @base wordmark is AllCaps while the editorial prefers “Base”

yeah, aware of that inconsistency. we should figure out what to do about this @nngllzz.eth - i never loved that wordmark in the first place :)

Yeah this was a great suggestion, imo—the wordmark (at least for crypto natives who see all your ads/brand presence) is approaching ubiquity, so this is a big reason folks see BASE as a viable or (“the”) correct option. Of course, Nike probably had this issue too but they kept the caps, so… 🤷
