One of the most common mistakes I still see newcomers making? Sending tokens to/from the wrong network. You’d think our UX would be better by now but… no. It’s still a surprisingly easy way to lose funds. Who is fixing this?

Insights from this week in vertical video:  “How do I grow a following on social media?” One of the most valuable, consistent pieces of advice I hear from well-known, well-loved creators is: you need brutally honest feedback from your colleagues & community.   Not all feedback is created equal: if you want to grow, you need to hear from creators whose values are aligned w/yours, whose work reflects quality you admire.  Do this by creating community in a “third place” where folks hang out. If you’re not sure where to start, I recommend finding a creator you love, then showing up to regularly add value in their comments section. I’m grateful to my colleagues @coinguide & @alexpopovic—for the time they make each week for feedback—to the A-Team at Faceless Labs, & the /rise-up community for all they’ve done to support my journey.  If you’re just getting started or you have questions about how to scale (especially in vertical video), let me know! Find a niche and own it: insights from another week in vertical video.  Scott Galloway says that, for creators, the greatest opportunities are on the smallest screens; and that the most successful creators “own” their niche.   Let me demonstrate how to apply this with our example at /rise-up: our goal is to become the most-trusted, live, crypto educational program on TikTok—super niche.  We’ve been creating for years, but since this has become our focus, we’re really making progress.  The Rise Up Morning Show and Rise Up After Dark are being discovered by thousands of viewers across the world, in different time slots, each week.  Testimonials repeatedly thank us for being clear, honest, inclusive, and committed to no-hype education.  We’re not special, you can do this too—just focus and commit, then refine by doubling down on what works.  More from our hosts below and, if you have questions about content creation, don’t hesitate to leave them in the comments!
