Any recommendations for sports that get you in shape but are less injury prone? Boxing was perfect but got a concussion a few years ago and can't pursue it at the level I want to anymore.

I used to train Muay Thai and boxing and just never sparred lol. I’m an engineer, I need my brain.

Hah, same. I still love boxing and train a couple times a week but it’s sad not to be able spar. All of boxing is predicated on it. It’s like appetizers for years with no main.

tai chi β€” while the forms are air guitar for sure, look for someone who will add push hands eventually (push hands requires can downregulate nervous system a bit since contact necessarily upregulating) cf Josh Waitzkin, Art of Learning, for the supercharged push hands view
