Started `Boardwalk Empire` in December. If you like crime shows + 1920s as a period, it's great. Can also see why it's not as popular as The Sopranos or The Wire, though (same goes for `Deadwood` and `Rome`). Most people prefer contemporary to history. HBO's early 2000s output / taste remains unmatched.
