How do you guys here deal with shin splints if you ever had it.

Like someone said, it’s an overuse injury. I had something similar, and almost felt like a fracture. First, I took two weeks. Then I knew I had to rebuild back up, so started with low mileage, all ran in zone 2 (super easy!). Slowly added miles, all at easy pace. Didn’t run hard until 3 months later.

I know, I know. It will pass by sooner than you think. And it’s better to take two weeks off willingly than the injury getting worse and forcing you to take time off!
