We folded over. Didn’t put up a fight. Deal with it. What will you do vote for Republicans?

Growing veggies for the fine folks of Southeastern Massachusetts, w/ a focus on nutrient quality. Always interested in the evolution of digital payments.  🎩 

I really don’t understand it. The Dems can’t do anything to stop the R’s now. That was their last bargaining chip. Now the R’s can cut all the projects they support.

What are your thoughts that “the fight would have ultimately done damage to projects the dems support “

They should have played hardball to make the CR a better deal rather than not providing any influence on the legislation at all and still voting to allow it to move forward. Also, they allowed it to move past the time frame we'd expect the R's to pass the tax bill. They should have worked to push it a few weeks/month to have leverage during the tax debate. Now they have zero leverage and zero influence.

Ideally,  how would you see the dems blocking the cr playing out
?   I think the general public would blame the dems
