Let's blame grocery stores for inflation rather than the $5 trillion in printed money during covid. Politicians assume we're dumb. We're not dumb we're buying crypto.

Isn’t it both? The vast majority of corporations raised prices under the guise of inflation.

sure, but i mean it's so disproportionately one over the other it's barley worth mentioning the other - unless you're trying to delude people and abdicate your responsibility as a politician

What percentage would you say was caused by covid relief policies compared to corporate greed? It’s hard for me to agree that giving low and middle income people a few thousand dollars disproportionately caused this level of inflation.

Easier to blame the government than corporate greed. Yes, we are overprinting $$ but calls for austerity cuts will be on the backs of people not corporations. This narrative will allow that to happen. 1396 $DEGEN

The classic “corporate greed is what causes all our problems”. As if corporate greed just started in 2020 when the government just printed trillions. Definitely corporate greed.

It doesn’t cause all problems but does cause the majority of them. “Over half of this increase (53.9%) can be attributed to fatter profit margins” https://www.epi.org/blog/corporate-profits-have-contributed-disproportionately-to-inflation-how-should-policymakers-respond/
