Did something I don’t normally do — engage in non crypto related politics online Glad I did and s/o @purp and @gfam for the thoughtful discussion Politics is one of the most cared about and important evergreen topics. Also one of the most important things to get right. Warpcast can be a meetspace for thoughtful, respectful dialogue — where open minded people can engage in good faith to form POVs from first principles Especially important since X is becoming more one sided, with everything else taking the other side Can conceive some cool shit onchain too. Degen for politics. Points for having a good convo, changing someone’s mind etc. Incentivize good faith dialogue Especially if you gamefy it, I can see Warpcast being the first place I go to form an opinion on something. Honestly could be huge. Success would mean a more free global marketplace of ideas. Def worth taking some shots on goal.

Thanks @purp Been trying to do this @nickprince.eth. We currently give out degen tips for top casters in the /politics channel. Have a nft that people can receive as a recognition and have been considering launching a channel token. Would love to brainstorm ideas.

For it to scale I imagine you need to let points/tips be p2p. Realize that introduces risks of farming etc. Is that how you think about the tradeoff?

That’s awesome. I tried minting the NFT this morning with my cb wallet but got an infinite spinner trying to connect cb wallet to highlight. Do you know what’s wrong or want me to pull in someone from the wallet team?
