Did something I don’t normally do — engage in non crypto related politics online Glad I did and s/o @purp and @gfam for the thoughtful discussion Politics is one of the most cared about and important evergreen topics. Also one of the most important things to get right. Warpcast can be a meetspace for thoughtful, respectful dialogue — where open minded people can engage in good faith to form POVs from first principles Especially important since X is becoming more one sided, with everything else taking the other side Can conceive some cool shit onchain too. Degen for politics. Points for having a good convo, changing someone’s mind etc. Incentivize good faith dialogue Especially if you gamefy it, I can see Warpcast being the first place I go to form an opinion on something. Honestly could be huge. Success would mean a more free global marketplace of ideas. Def worth taking some shots on goal.

I have to say... the longer post capability has been so integral for our discussion... there's just no way we could have had this same discussion on, say, BlueSky or Threads. I think something that has been a problem on Twitter for years is that the replies to a post get sorted by most engagement, so the dunkiest or meanest responses would bubble to the top... effectively encouraging people to be the jerkiest jerks. I don't know how Warpcast works, but maybe replies are sorted by time instead?
