What is one part of your political ideology that you find difficult to defend?

I’d typically prefer limited government intervention and control at the federal level. 

But due to our current political situation, I’ve been pushing for more power at the federal level.

Interesting as my instinct is the opposite 

Why do you think the feds need more power right now specifically?

To combat the rise in corporate power. Although, those somewhat go hand in hand.

Agreed. This is why it's my political ideology that I struggle to defend. 

1. We need to regulate businesses as they have shown to consistently put profits above people. 
2. Those regulations than get co-opted by the corporations we're trying to regulate to snuff out competition. 

Repeat.

Yeah IMHO what we all hate is regulatory capture

Which is bipartisan in the worst way 

Businesses using the gov to snuff out competition is the high of intellectual dishonesty IMHO
