There is so much alpha in having a 3-year-old. You can teach them to fly a kite, or ride a scooter, and it is literally the best thing that has ever happened to them

The small things are the best. I rolled some marbles with my 3 year old daughter the other day.  She was giggling the whole time.  You've inspired me to fly a kite. 300 $degen

She did actually let go of it a couple of times, I had to run after it and stomp on the handle to catch it!

This worked out great until the kite ran to the end of the unsecured reel and flew off the side of the dam

I love the moments when you realize that things you take for granted as cliches are completely new and amazing for them. I remember blowing my son’s mind with the separating thumb trick. “Oh, right! You’ve never seen this!” That combined with the fact that they have no inherent notion of the bounds of our abilities.

I've never been kite surfing before. I imagine that I'd feel exactly like your toddler. Oh to be 3 and carefree.
