a month of magical thinking day 28 this is the part where most people would probably give up lots of shadow work and migraines are keeping things interesting this week the best way out is through, however. i’ll keep accepting the challenges presented to me and transcending them i wonder if most people would have it this hard i’ve been helping @jameswyper go through a similar process and he’s having a much easier time, and seeing epic results in his art practice. i’m guessing most people would have an experience more like his according to the a.c.e. study on adverse childhood experiences i’m in the top percent of trauma experiencers for having had so many different categories of traumatic events. i don’t want my unusually challenging experience on this journey to scare anyone off—few people would have this many things to address in a way i’m excited to have so much to work on, though. i have an incredible life already. to think i could still see a massive improvement is amazing!

the better i feel now (mostly thanks to emdr), the more i realize how bad i felt before. i tried to be happy, but most of the time it was easiest to settle for contentment do you think you could be a mainly joyful person if you tried? if yes, how do you maintain your joy? if no, what keeps you from finding joy? https://frame.weponder.io/api/polls/10145

a month of magical thinking day 8 i created a new manifestation ritual that is more enjoyable and exciting than the other one, and it was intense! it’s more focused on physical sensations in the body, with some affirmations, and i felt a lot shift during the process. because of that, there was a lot of emotional detox afterwards too i did an emdr session to release everything and it was also very intense! extremely painful yet everything resolved very quickly. i feel like it’s releasing a lot of endorphins, and i’m finding emdr almost addictive because of how much better i feel afterwards. it’s hard to explain how much of a relief it is to have this tool. i don’t think i even realized how much pain i was in, but i’m starting to see now. i feel very lucky to be finding my way out of it finally i also received an extremely nice gift in the mail! 💕 i’ll share the ritual once i have fine-tuned it more, and if you want to try the emdr you can search the username @ mind-motion on yt

1109032 E found object assemblage approx 30x24” ‘junk art’ like this assemblage is one of my favourite things to make. it brings me back to childhood, when I spent days assembling Lego and Mecanno sets, and searched through old farm yards in Saskatchewan for bits of metal and old car parts the green and yellow aluminum are from a wrecked helicopter that I found at a junkyard. the orange hasp is from a toolbox that I bought at a flea market. all of the wood is driftwood from the sea

i’ve been working hard this year but not really seeing results. i’m now thinking of trying an experiment where i take the opposite approach—1 month of min effort, max manifesting. i’d mainline law of attraction audiobooks, youtube videos, courses, and do every ritual i can find all day every day 🧘🏼🧙🏻🍄🧞‍♀️🙏🏻🪄✨💰🦄 reality, work, and adulting would be completely ignored for the sake of science 🧑🏼‍🔬 what do you think? vote and share your predictions below. will i make all of my wildest dreams come true, or become forever lost in delululand? https://frame.weponder.io/api/polls/5550

New Dawn 18x18” I don’t usually paint this small, but @marlo gifted a canvas to me which had a circle study of hers painted on it. so this is a collaboration with her energy, and the top circle is the one she drafted 🩵 if you’d like this optimistic gem of a painting, please lmk
