Can someone explain how Base has 18M active users? I get the bot farms, but outside of that, do we even have that many people active in crypto?

a few thoughts on this: - probably a lot of activity based on projects building on base - farming activity by people with multiple wallets - coinbase users that may more may not know they’re using something onchain - marketing efforts from base team for irl things like $1 pizza/coffee in specific areas

There are 54M crypto holders in the US alone (people not wallets). Is it really so hard to think 1-18M globally? Are on Base?

I myself have maybe 3 wallets that regularly interact with Base. I expect I am not alone and maybe I’m at the low end of the scale.
