Ngl a couple of months ago i would have told you that i think remote work is better but that is totally cap The amount I have been able to get done being in person is insane, not to mention the feedback loop is way better From the employees perspective I get remote work (i never had a in person job) but from the founder side its not even close

as a founder who struggles being highly productive unless im alone in the room, I'm quite curious why you think the opposite applies to you. my thesis is each person achieves peak productivity in a different environment, mostly depending on their attitude, social behaviour and discipline.

my take is things change fast when you are working on a startup - there is a lot of back and forth and iterative design. being able to do that process in person is way quicker than async via slack - sure gather etc helps with this but imo isn't the same also feel like the best aha moments have come when im not even thinking about it, which would not happen remotely (or would not be as effective)
