I’m starting to use ChatGPT as a replacement for Google Search which literally does not work for me anymore. So strange watching something that was once so vital go into total eclipse. Very sad!

the All In guys talked about google's catch 22 recently - how Gemini as a model is actually good but compared to gpt, etc it hasn't gotten usage b/c pushing the model cuts into google's search ad business.

They push the model though. Ran a damn good Super Bowl ad for it even. Problem is that it’s gotta be that much better than ChatGPT for the average person to care
