im a big fan of the recent degen tipping changes

1. deriving tipping allowance from a combo of locking the token and the social graph strength feels like a really elegant solution to reward people with real skin in the game

2. it's much less farmable, yet the numbers are still really solid (~300 APY atm)

3. degen tipping remains the best growth strategy on farcaster — lots of supercast users got more in degen tips than they ever paid for supercast

4. it's not clear yet, but the branding really improves — i was disappointed with the ai images and begging meta before. Now the vibe it's closer to actually rewarding valuable contributions to the network.

5. having a predictable emission budget is great too and makes the token much more sustainable over the long run

im currently locking 500k degen and will look later how can i bring it to the max 10k allo

imo @jacek did a great job with this one — im excited to release more degen related features in supercast soon :)

Appreciate the love from @woj.eth and @supercast! What he’s building is really special. Also, impressed to learn the current APY is 300% for Locked Degen holders! You get this as tip allowances, not direct interest, but still, a huge return!

Jacek, how did you come up with 300%? I am not getting this number.

I locked up 1 million, my current allowance is 8280 (and it continue loosing around 150 pints daily), with my calculations this is approx 148% (3 months)

When I calculate people who locked up 10k and currently get 81 degen that comes with approx 128%

What numbers went into 300%?

Yessir, currently lock ≈1.2mil to tip ≈3.6mil a year.

i recieved 2500 degen in season 5 but i can't claim it , i connected my wallet to faracaster and degen.tips , but it say you are not eligible 

i checked the Dune website and search with FID it showed my wallet and amount of the degen tips i recieved

what should i do?
