have you ever read Thinking Fast and Slow? imo one of the most important books on human psychology ever a lot of it is focused on how much people confuse skill with luck the sections on cognitive biases are extremely valuable

A couple of good early decisions help (whether luck or not). A couple of bad decisions can cause damage. Important to do more (important) things more often right than wrong.

he can call it luck, but we can always connect the dots and explain something that has already happened. in the moment - it can be luck. Also if luck is all the factors coming together, that can be true. but some people just know how to see the reality on the molecular level. and if they execute - its not luck
