okay interesting. so here is what i want to solve 

- alice has icebreaker PWA on her phone 
- bob meets alice & taps his NFC on her phone 
- bobs profile opens in icebreaker PWA, not in safari

It depends on ios scope e.g., a link to your webapp clicked in mail will open the default browser

A link clicked inside safari should open your webapp

Also maybe try webapp://

It seems like maybe the Jam team figured this out because I was able to auth into FC on their PWA

no, it's not possible, there's a standard for PWA deep linking but apple doesn't support it yet

you're supposed to be able to deep link if the user clicks a push notifications, but I haven't been able to get it working in the few times I've tried
