what is the golden standard for self custody personal setups these days? currently thinking 2/3 multisig with 2 hot wallets across 2 devices and 1 ledger what is yours?

4 of 6, other people should hold some of the keys for you (ideally, enough to recover the funds if you disappear, so you solve that problem too as a side effect)

Sure, but that’s problematic if you disappear, no? Or is the assumption that your disappearance would result in a gathering of people likely to hold a signing key, which would let them recover the funds

what about some specific apps solving inheritance? Personally, I was working on it. I've built a dapp to manage it, a proof of alive is required every certain time to extend the date, so it is not perfect. I've built a dead man switch with time lock encryption too, the key will not be decrypted until the chosen date.
