Photos by Jason Lee from his 2020 book entitled "In the Gold Dust Rush" This is the same Jason Lee who acted in the Kevin Smith movies. He's been doing photography for over a decade, and this body of work was taken over a 12 year period.

I think I've slowly come to the realization that I prefer more undisturbed scenes in street photography (something shot on 50 or 55mm for example) than the up close and tight shots in the style of Bruce Gilden because I'd never want to have my photo taken that way. I guess my taste in art is a reflection on myself?

Photos by JM Ramirez-Suassi from Fordlândia 9. This body of work documents the failed utopian city of Forlandia, a wildly misguided dream of Henry Ford's in which the 1920s industrialist thought he could buy a plot of land in Brazil for manufacturing rubber while turning that land into a modern American town.

Patiently waiting for my allergies to stop bothering me this much so I can enjoy things more. I picked the wrong time to order a lot of 2022 Chenin Blanc, although there's never a wrong time for that.

Photos by Dave Heath from a body of work entitled Washington Square. Washington Square NYC in the late 50s was basically a place of rebellion where beatniks, bohemians, and the like would gather. If you had something to say that railed against the regular societal norms, you wanted to be here to say it.

Has nostalgia been manufactured and commoditized to a point where it's no longer nostalgia because: A) Those were never your moments to begin with B) It is so present that you can see it on a daily basis, which removes what the feeling is supposed to be? Maybe I'm crazy.

With so many chains out there now and so much uncertainty in the market, I've mainly been sitting on my hands to see how things take shape in our growing digital world. We've already seen some places shutter their doors so when things feel unstable or unpredictable to me, I often choose to simply wait and see.

While a part of art collecting can be social signaling, I prefer to take the opposite approach to it. I take a selfish approach, but the good kind of selfish. I do it only for myself as a form of self-discovery, exploration, and finding uncomfortable spaces to reside in.

Photos by Melanie Pullen from her body of work High Fashion Crime Scenes, in which she spent several years working with the NYPD and LAPD to go through actual crime scene photos in order to then formulate staged concept work using fashion houses and a team of up to 100 people to create these scenes.

Photos by Daniel Arnold, a NYC based street photographer and somewhat of a cult classic in some circles. Some of my favorite photographers are those who are showing you their relationship with the world and Daniel is a perfect example to me - observant, clever, a bit introspective, and always inspiring.

I haven't used Midjourney in a bit of time now, but slowly going to get back into it. This one was rendered to mainly focus on tones, lighting, and atmosphere - Todd Hido inspired without trying to mimic Todd Hido. My goal was getting that pop of color and a flash effect in the foreground.

I think I am going to begin doing some more personal writing on here. It's easier to be vulnerable when less eyes are watching. I don't quite know what shape or form it will take yet, and I don't see many channels on here that are geared toward this. Maybe I will create my own soon enough.

Photo by Sage Sohier. I'm not even sure where to begin. The depth of her work and her CV is nothing short of inspiring. This photo is the cover of her most recent book, Passing Time, in which she used Covid Era to revisit her negatives and contact sheets to compile previously unseen photos from 1979-1985.

If your goal is making money in crypto it’s not about ETH vs SOL. It’s not about L1 vs L2. It’s not about meme vs utility. It’s about hype, momentum, volume, volatility, and taking some risks on what isn’t being discussed. When the thing feels obvious to everybody it’s already over.

I just learned the requirements of tipping here so I'll be getting myself set up soon enough. I sort of expect more pullbacks on the price of $degen for various reasons so I'll either be correct and get my 10k more cheaply in the near future or I'll be wrong and still get my 10k in the near future.

Hi All. Feels a bit weird to start over with the same people, but a lot has changed in 3 years. Some still speak to each other and some do not. Some have moved on. Time will tell what happens here. I'm still trying to figure out how I'll use this account but lots of art sharing is sure to occur.
