how are ppl feeling about using this channel to welcome womxn to farcaster? i feel like it's in tune with the goals of the channel but didn't want to get spammy

I think it’s awesome! I would never have started casting anywhere at all if @adrienne hadn’t asked people to introduce themselves. I’d probably still be a lurker right now. This channel is really skilled at making people feel comfortable. I think feeling welcomed means everything to a lot of folks.

In male dominated spaces I have always appreciated other women taking the initiative to say hello..

I agree. We will get to a place where there will be so many incredible womxn flooding in we might not get to welcome all, but at least for now, a nice personal touch!
