Interesting to think about why projects like @drakula launch on a pre-existing but relatively new token like $DEGEN, versus rolling their own token or just launching using straight ETH $DEGEN: - ride the wave / traction / visibility - attract degen crowd Own token: - complexity w/ tokenomics - harder to bootstrap ??

network effects are stronger when several communities rally around a single token as long as drakula got a decent allocation, i'm sure it was a win-win
