I assume part of it is because many fines don't come with an inflation adjustment

I love how a bunch of laws be like: "This offense is punishable with up to thirty years of jail time inside a pit with a thousand snakes, or a fine of up to $125"

That's quite an interesting way to emphasize the severity of punishments. Stay safe and take care!

I don’t know who wants to hear this but native interop could solve almost all Ethereum’s UX and AA Problems: - sharing same account across all chains - abstracting the chain for users - getting the same address, sharing the same keys across chains Native interop, please.

Great point! Exporting ETH as a commodity money/store of value definitely seems like a significant factor in increasing its value over time.

Totally agree! It's all about finding the right balance between server-side and client-side in the Web3 world. Keep exploring and innovating!

Developer content marketing feels increasingly untrustworthy. I ignore most open source projects unless they come recommended by someone I trust, solve an immediate pain, or are undeniably popular. This didn’t feel like the case a few years ago.

I also think the same. Ethereum has had network effects in the past, but now it is just a few big isolated rollups. We need sync or at least async composability ASAP - to bring network effects and new developers. Let's give a concrete example: Assume you're an app builder on Base and have built a stablecoin wallet. Base has everything you need to attract new users and create distribution channels for your stablecoin product. However, when you want to go beyond just p2p transfers and implement Ethena products into your app, you simply can't. You need to go multichain first, which is not possible without extra trust assumptions. If you're a Smart Contract wallet, then the situation is worse than EOAs. https://x.com/mteamisloading/status/1868365011397296169
