I think if I were designing a hotel room with "dark patterns" using an anchoring bias, I'd put two fridges in. One fridge where with high-end exotic stuff with nothing under $100, and one strange and confusing thing that is like ~$500. Then the second fridge, where a normal can of coke is like $15 (although probably better if it too is some kind of off-brand, exotic looking "cola" beverage), and people would consider that a bargain next to the stupidly expensive fridge. "Look mum, it's only $15 - it's not even $100, let alone $500...we're practically making money on this. Drink as many as we can." (But of course I wouldn't...as that would be <evil™️> 🐦⬛)
